
The Southeastern Conference (SEC) has announced its 2024 football schedule, with the Georgia Bulldogs and Texas Longhorns set to square off in a rematch of their highly anticipated 2023 Championship Game on December 7, 2024, at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
The Georgia-Texas rivalry has been a captivating one in recent years, with both teams meeting in the SEC Championship Game in 2023 and the Sugar Bowl in 2019. The Bulldogs currently hold a 3-1 advantage in the series.
“We’re excited about the opportunity to play Texas again in the SEC Championship Game,” said Georgia head coach Kirby Smart. “They’re a great program with a lot of history, and we know it will be a tough challenge. But our guys are looking forward to it.”
